Commercial Roof Coatings

Extend the Life of Your Roof

Traditional coverings would sometimes do more harm than good to large commercial or industrial roofing. Rainville-Carlson’s roof coating systems reduce weight, increase longevity, and provide years of solid protection from the harshest Minnesota weather.

Avoid a Costly Replacement and Extend the Service Life of Your Roof With Commercial Roof Coating Systems

Roof coatings installed by expert roofing contractors, like our team at Rainville-Carlson, can extend the lifespan of your roof, lower maintenance cost, and stave off expensive replacements. Coating systems can work with several types of roof surfaces and roofing materials. Ultimately, they are most effective when combined with a single-ply membrane.

Adding a coat to your roof will help:

  • Avoid metal roof corrosion
  • Stop leaks
  • Lower a building’s cooling costs

Our fluid-applied roof coating systems are installed with virtually no disruption to your day-to-day operations and they produce very little debris when compared to full-scale repairs. Before installation, we will evaluate your building and assess the type of coating it needs.

“Having a decorative glass business, it is important to have quality vendors. Rainville-Carlson has exceeded my high expectations every time I have placed an order. Top quality and fast lead times make them my first call every time!”Travis Stevens

Types of Roofs We Service:

Built-Up Asphalt – These roof systems are commonly referred to as “tar and gravel” roofs. BUR systems generally are composed of alternating layers of bitumen and reinforcing fabrics.

Elastomeric – Elastomeric roof coatings stretch and contract easily to adjust to winter and summer temperatures. The materials are usually made using polymeric products such as acrylic, alongside white pigments like titanium dioxide.

EPDM – This extremely durable synthetic rubber roofing membrane is widely used in low-slope buildings worldwide. Its two primary ingredients, ethylene and propylene, are derived from oil and natural gas.

White Roof – A white roof is painted with a solar reflective white coating and reflects up to 90% of sunlight (as opposed to traditional black roofs which reflect only 20%).

Slate – This elegant stone roofing tile is known as one of the longest lasting shingles still on the market today and is prized for its beauty, durability, and longevity.

Clay Tile – A clay tile is produced by baking molded clay into a tile shape. The density of the clay is determined by the length of time and temperature at which it is heated. Tiles may be glazed and also may have surface texture treatments applied. As a result, there are a wide variety of tile profiles, styles, finishes, and colors available.

Asphalt Shingle – Asphalt shingles are composed of a base material, asphalt, and fillers. Asphalt shingles are known for their strength, weather resistance, and fire resistance.

PVC Roof – PVC is a great material to use in modular roofing in large part because of its durability. Even in harsh conditions and climates, this reliable roof membrane will hold strong.
